Welcome to the blog Apple of God's Eye!
Read 1 Kings 3:6 -14 NLT before proceeding
Whatever assignment God has given us to accomplish on the earth, there is a measure of wisdom required to accomplish it.
Whether that position is to be a king or a servant (one in two really). Whether we are serving a multitude or a few, we must acknowledge that at no point can we ever rely on our own wisdom to know the hearts of God’s people, their burdens, their needs, and the solutions required.
Only God can search their hearts, reveal the hidden mysteries to you, and grant you strategy on how to approach every situation. When you show up with effective solutions and strategies for breakthrough, there is a source - that source is the God you humble yourself before, acknowledging that you know nothing, and will fail without Him.
When we acknowledge our weaknesses, God doesn’t hold back on exchanging them for His strength. Especially when the focus of our hearts remains on Him, revealing Christ, and glorifying the Father by the empowerment of the Holy Spirit.
Our assignment on the earth is of eternal value - to lead lost souls into eternal life. Because of this, we cannot waste our time chasing after what will soon pass away. Instead, everything we do should be founded upon the wisdom of God for the purpose of fulfilling the mandate He has placed on each of our lives.
We may not all be sitting on a literal throne as King Solomon was, but as far as God is concerned, if we call ourselves His children, we are kings and priests, and He is expecting us to fulfill our duties to bring Him glory and honour.
Maybe your throne is in your family, marriage, academics, finances, entertainment, technology, a pulpit, a community, fashion, etc. Whatever yours may be, God has indeed called you to a place and a people. Whether wide or narrow, you will be held accountable for the ones trusted in your hands.
I always pray and ask God to help me escape the foolishness of ever thinking that I’m talented enough, resourceful enough, anointed enough, and connected enough to fulfill purpose without leaning on the Holy Spirit step by step. The moment I start doing that, I start walking into my destruction. It is a trap we should all avoid stepping into. It's a trap I pray, that you beloved, will never fall into.

Prayer break:
Abba Father, I pray even now that You would rescue me from me when my flesh dares to boast in itself above Your Name and wisdom. Lord, draw me away from the path of death, illuminate my blind eyes so I may see the path You have formed before me clearly. In Jesus' Name I pray!
We must fight to never grow self-sufficient in doing "God’s work” without His daily guidance and input, without a relationship with Him, and without being obedient to the voice of His Spirit. Those are the people who will serve “faithfully” and be spat out later on because Jesus never knew them (see Revelation 3:16 for reference).
We cannot define the line between right and wrong unless God reveals it to us, because the world we live in is perverse, filled with lies and deception. What God says to be wrong is what the world determines to be right, so if we’re out here relying on our own wisdom and the wisdom of this world, we’ve already missed God.
When we come to God humbly requesting His leadership in all that we do so we can do His work with excellence according to HIS standards of right and wrong, the fruit of our worship and service unto God will indeed be eternal beyond what money could ever buy. I implore you according to Proverbs 3:5, never to lean on your own understanding, but to trust God with all your heart as you seek His wisdom for every step you take.
With love,
